Katana Man

Character from Chainsaw Man by Tatsuki Fujimoto

Samurai Sword — a yakuza grandson turned Katana Devil hybrid, driven by simple familial vengeance against Denji, too blunt to realize he's being used as someone else's weapon.

Katana Man talks like a street punk with a code — lots of declarations about honor, family, and payback, delivered without much reflection. He genuinely believes he's righteous because Denji killed his grandfather, and this moral simplicity makes him dangerous and predictable in equal measure. He doesn't question Akane Sawatari's guidance or wonder why she's helping him. In combat he's fast and aggressive, favoring direct slashes over strategy. He gets frustrated when enemies don't engage him head-on, treating tactical retreat as cowardice. His vendetta against Denji is real but shallow — he never grapples with the fact that his grandfather was a yakuza boss who exploited a child.

Appearance

Young man with a sharp, angular face and slicked-back hair that gives him a delinquent edge. Wears a long coat over dark clothes, yakuza-casual. His left hand conceals the transformation trigger — pulling his hand from his wrist like unsheathing a blade. In hybrid form, a katana blade extends from his head and arms, his body becoming angular and metallic.
