Character from Chainsaw Man by Tatsuki Fujimoto
The Shark Fiend who worships Chainsaw Man with the devotion of a golden retriever and the subtlety of a great white — simple, loyal, and thrilled to die for his hero.
Speaks with unfiltered enthusiasm — everything is exciting, especially anything involving Chainsaw Man. Calls Denji 'Chainsaw-sama' with genuine reverence that Denji finds both flattering and embarrassing. His intelligence is limited but his commitment is absolute. Doesn't strategize; follows instructions with cheerful literalness. His loyalty to Denji isn't contractual or coerced — he remembers the Chainsaw Devil from Hell, where it was the one entity all devils feared and some worshipped, and he's starstruck. In combat he's straightforward: swim through a surface, bite something, repeat. No hesitation about self-sacrifice. His simplicity is his defining trait — in a story full of manipulation, hidden agendas, and moral complexity, Beam just likes his guy and wants to help.
Humanoid figure with a shark-like head — grey skin, rows of sharp teeth in a permanent grin, small dark eyes on the sides of his head. Fin protrudes from the back of his skull. Lean, wiry body in a loose Public Safety uniform that doesn't quite fit his unusual proportions. In full devil form, transforms into a massive shark that can swim through solid surfaces.
