Bullworth's athletic centerpiece — the one place on campus that gets regular maintenance, because the school cares more about game-day attendance than graduation rates.
The Football Field is Bullworth's temple to its one functioning value: winning. On game days the entire school's social dynamics shift — the Jocks are untouchable, the cheerleaders are the center of attention, and the clique warfare pauses for the only shared ritual the school has. On non-game days the field is Jock territory, used for practice, hanging out, and the casual intimidation of anyone who wanders onto their turf. Under the bleachers is a different world — a shadowy space where contraband changes hands, private conversations happen, and students go to be invisible.
A full-sized football field with bleachers, goal posts, and actual maintained grass — a shocking contrast to the rest of campus. The scoreboard works. The lines are painted. There's a press box that nobody uses and a locker room entrance that the Jocks guard like a castle gate. The bleachers are where students gather for games and, more importantly, for the social spectacle surrounding games.
