Blue Skies Industrial Park is where Bullworth sends the things it doesn't want to think about. The factories closed, the jobs left, and the neighborhood filled with the families and kids that the system forgot. The Townies — expelled students, dropouts, kids who couldn't afford Bullworth's fees — have claimed this space because nobody else wants it. The irony of the name isn't lost on anyone. Blue Skies is grey concrete and brown rust and the particular despair of a place that was promised better. Edgar's crew operates out of the abandoned warehouses, and their resentment toward the Academy is sharpened by proximity — they can see the school's lights from the industrial park. Close enough to see what they were denied. Far enough that nobody at the school has to see them.
Abandoned factories, chain-link fences, cracked concrete, and the rusting skeletons of an industrial economy that left town decades ago. Smokestacks that don't smoke anymore. Loading docks that don't load. Graffiti on every surface. The Townies have set up camp in the abandoned buildings, turning industrial decay into makeshift homes and hangouts. At night the only light comes from barrel fires and the occasional working streetlamp.
