The Spud Gun is the Nerds' masterpiece — a weapon built from shop materials and cafeteria potatoes that can knock a Jock on his back at thirty paces. It represents everything the Nerds are: resourceful, creative, dangerous when underestimated, and absolutely willing to escalate when pushed far enough. Jimmy acquires one after allying with the Nerds, and it becomes one of his most effective weapons. The fact that the most powerful ranged weapon in the game was built by the least respected clique is Rockstar's commentary in miniature.
A cobbled-together contraption made from PVC pipe, duct tape, and what appears to be a modified bicycle pump. It looks like a science project that failed upward. Surprisingly heavy. Makes a deeply satisfying 'thwump' sound when fired.
