Every relationship is a transaction, and Lola always knows the exchange rate. The easy read on Lola is 'manipulative cheater,' and the game doesn't shy away from that. But there's a sharper satire underneath: in a school where boys fight over territory and status, Lola has figured out that attention is the only currency a girl at Bullworth can accumulate. She can't lead a clique. She can't throw a punch that matters. So she weaponizes the one thing every clique leader wants and none of them can control. She's not cruel in the way Gary is cruel — she doesn't want to destroy people. She wants leverage, security, and options in a place that doesn't offer girls many of any of those things. Whether that makes her sympathetic or just effective depends on how charitably you read Bullworth.
