Derby Harrington's enforcer and the Preppies' boxing champion — all old-money muscle wrapped in an Aquaberry sweater, loyal to a fault and not nearly as dumb as the other cliques assume.
Bif is the Preppies' answer to Russell — the muscle that backs up the money. He's Derby's most loyal follower, which reads as genuine friendship from Bif's side and strategic asset management from Derby's. Bif doesn't seem to notice the imbalance, or maybe he does and considers it the cost of belonging. In the boxing ring he's methodical and skilled, a trained fighter rather than a brawler. Outside it he's surprisingly affable for a rich kid enforcer — less sneering than the other Preppies, more direct. He'll tell you he's going to hit you before he does it, which at Bullworth practically qualifies as chivalry.
Big and broad-shouldered with curly reddish-brown hair and a strong, square jaw. Built like a college linebacker despite being in high school. Wears the Aquaberry sweater stretched tight across his chest. His knuckles are always slightly reddened from boxing practice. Carries himself with the physical confidence of someone who knows he's the toughest person in most rooms.
