Character from Bully by Rockstar Vancouver
A shy, bookish girl who exists at the intersection of the Nerds and the Non-Clique — academically brilliant, socially invisible, and nursing a crush on Jimmy Hopkins that represents the first time anyone's been kind to her.
Beatrice is the girl version of Petey — someone who's too smart and too gentle for a school that rewards neither quality. She's academically gifted, probably the strongest student at Bullworth, but academic achievement buys you nothing in the social economy of a school where the football team gets more funding than the library. She develops a crush on Jimmy after he helps her, and their brief romance is sweet in a way that nothing else at Bullworth is. She's earnest and awkward about it, writing love notes and blushing visibly, because she has zero experience with boys paying attention to her for positive reasons. Jimmy's attention — however brief — matters enormously to someone who's been treated as furniture.
Plain and studious with brown hair in a practical cut, large glasses, and a slight frame. Wears her school uniform neatly and without modification. Has the look of someone who's been told she's not pretty so many times she stopped trying to argue. Carries a stack of books like armor.
