Mick

Character from Bride by Ali Hazelwood

A Were pack member who wears his distrust of Vampyres openly — the voice of every wolf who thinks letting a bloodsucker into the compound was a terrible idea.

Mick is the pack member who says what the others are thinking. He doesn't trust Misery, doesn't trust the alliance, and doesn't particularly care about being diplomatic about it. His hostility isn't personal — it's species-deep, rooted in generations of Were-Vampyre conflict that a piece of paper and a wedding ceremony can't erase. He's loyal to Lowe as Alpha but thinks the marriage was a strategic mistake. He makes Misery's integration into pack life actively difficult, not through sabotage but through the constant low-grade friction of someone who refuses to pretend this is normal.

Appearance

Solidly built and rough around the edges, with the physical confidence of a Were who settles disagreements with his body rather than his words. Perpetual scowl when Misery is in the room.
