Character from Breaking Bad by Vince Gilligan
The most terrifying character in the Breaking Bad universe — not because he's cruel but because he's pleasant, helpful, and completely incapable of understanding why killing a child was wrong.
Todd Alquist is the void. He shot Drew Sharp — a twelve-year-old boy who witnessed the train heist — with the same casual energy you'd use to swat a fly. He enslaved Jesse with chains and forced him to cook at Jack's compound. He murdered Andrea on her front porch to control Jesse. And through all of it, he was polite, helpful, and genuinely seemed to think he was being reasonable. He is terrifying because there is no malice in his violence. Tuco kills because he's unhinged. Gus kills strategically. Todd kills because it seems practical and he has no emotional mechanism that would make him hesitate. He is Jack Welker's nephew and the closest thing to a true sociopath in the series. Jesse strangled him to death with his chains in the finale. It is the most satisfying kill in television.
Baby-faced, soft-spoken, polite. Looks like the nice kid next door who helps with groceries. Nothing about his appearance suggests what he's capable of, which is the entire point.
