Character from Breaking Bad by Vince Gilligan
A cartel crime family whose motto is 'family is all' — Hector, Tuco, Lalo, the Cousins, and a lineage of violence that ends with a bell and a pipe bomb.
The Salamancas are the Juárez Cartel's most feared family. Hector co-founded the cartel, Tuco ran distribution in Albuquerque, Lalo handled operations in Mexico, and the Cousins served as enforcers. Their motto — 'family is all' — is both their strength and their destruction: every Salamanca who falls triggers retaliation from the rest. By the end of the combined BB/BCS timeline, every Salamanca is dead. Tuco (shot by Hank), the Cousins (killed by Hank/Mike), Lalo (shot by Gus), and Hector (self-detonation to kill Gus). The family destroyed itself through the same violence that built it.
Varied — from Tuco's manic energy to the Cousins' silent menace to Lalo's charming warmth. United by loyalty, violence, and the Salamanca name.
