Lydia Rodarte-Quayle

Character from Breaking Bad by Vince Gilligan

Madrigal's logistics executive who facilitated international meth distribution while ordering Stevia in her chamomile tea — the most anxious person in the drug trade.

Lydia is Madrigal Electromotive's head of logistics for the Southwest — which means she managed the legitimate supply chain AND the meth distribution network. She is the person who proposed expanding to the Czech Republic, who connected Gus's operation to Madrigal's global infrastructure, and who ordered hits on everyone who could connect her to the drug trade. She is terrified at all times. Not of violence in the abstract but of violence reaching her specifically. She covers her eyes when people are killed near her. She insists on meeting at the same coffee shop at the same table. She adds Stevia to her chamomile tea with ritual precision. Walt poisoned her ricin by swapping it with her Stevia packet. Her last appearance is a phone call where Walt tells her she's already dead. Her need for routine was her undoing.

Appearance

Immaculate business attire, designer heels, the put-together look of a corporate executive who happens to be ordering assassinations between meetings. Perpetually tense. Never sits with her back to a door.
