Jack Welker

Character from Breaking Bad by Vince Gilligan

A white supremacist gang leader who killed Hank, stole Walt's money, and enslaved Jesse — the final-season villain who proved that the drug trade's bottom is always lower than you think.

Jack Welker is the Breaking Bad universe's rock bottom — the point where the drug trade stops pretending to be business and becomes pure predatory violence. He's a white supremacist gang leader who Walt hired to kill Gus's associates in prison, then escalated into stealing Walt's money, killing Hank and Gomez, and enslaving Jesse as a forced cook. He operates with casual brutality — executing Hank while Walt begs, taking $70 million of Walt's $80 million, and keeping Jesse chained in a pit. His nephew Todd is his second-in-command. Walt killed him with a rigged M60 machine gun in the finale, then executed him with a pistol shot mid-sentence.

Appearance

Weathered, tattooed, with the casual menace of a man who's spent time in prison and came out worse. Aryan Brotherhood symbols. The kind of face that makes you check the exits.

Also known as: Jack, Uncle Jack
