Ed Galbraith

Character from Breaking Bad by Vince Gilligan

The Disappearer — a vacuum shop owner who extracts people from their lives for $125,000 cash, asks no questions, and offers no second chances.

Ed Galbraith runs Best Quality Vacuum — a literal vacuum cleaner shop that is also the most important criminal service in the Breaking Bad universe. For $125,000 (non-negotiable, cash only), he provides a new identity, relocation, and complete disappearance. The password is: 'a dust filter for a Hoover Max Extract Pressure Pro, Model 60.' He extracted Walt (sent to a cabin in New Hampshire), Jesse (sent to Alaska as 'Mr. Driscoll'), and Saul (sent to Omaha as 'Gene Takavic'). He is the only character who appears across all three productions: Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and El Camino. Robert Forster, who played Ed, died the day El Camino was released.

Appearance

Unremarkable older man running an unremarkable vacuum shop. Robert Forster brought a weary gravitas to a character who has clearly seen too much and charges accordingly.
