Valley of Screams

Location from Bleach by Tite Kubo

A dimension formed from accumulated lost souls called Blanks — spirits who lost their memories and were drawn together into a purgatorial valley between worlds.

The Valley of Screams is what happens when souls fall through the cracks between dimensions. Blanks — souls stripped of their memories and individuality — accumulate here over centuries, and when enough gather, the Valley manifests as a parasitic dimension that threatens to collide with the World of the Living or Soul Society. It's a concept explored primarily in the first Bleach movie but represents a real cosmological danger in the series' worldbuilding: the dimensional structure has gaps, and things get lost in them. The Valley is less a place than a symptom — evidence that the Soul King's system of maintaining dimensional balance is imperfect.

Appearance

A desolate valley filled with swirling purple-black energy. Floating debris and fragments of buildings drift through the space. Blanks — featureless white humanoid figures — wander aimlessly in enormous numbers. The sky is a churning vortex. Everything feels unstable, like the dimension could collapse at any moment.
