Squad 11 is the Gotei 13's berserker division, and its culture is entirely Kenpachi Zaraki's doing. There is no kidō training, no healing instruction, no subtlety — only combat power determines rank. Ikkaku hides his Bankai rather than be promoted out. Yumichika pretends his Zanpakutō is a melee type because he'd be mocked for having a kidō ability. The division attracts the violent, the ambitious, and the people who find peace only in fighting. Kenpachi himself sets the tone: he wears bells in his hair to give opponents a chance to hear him coming, patches one eye to limit his own power, and considers a fight only worth having if he might die. The barracks reflect this philosophy — they're functional, brutal, and full of energy.
