Character from Bleach by Tite Kubo

Father of all Quincy, son of the Soul King, the final antagonist. Born without sight, hearing, or feeling, he gained them by distributing pieces of his soul to others and reclaiming them at death — growing stronger as his children die. His power, The Almighty, lets him see and rewrite all possible futures.

What They Know

• The Almighty (Schrift 'A') — Yhwach can see every possible future simultaneously and, once activated fully, can choose among them to alter reality. Any power he 'sees' in the future cannot harm him — he simply selects a future where it doesn't work. Even Ichibē's name-erasing power was reversed.
• Auswählen (Holy Selection) — can forcibly reclaim the soul fragments distributed to other Quincy, killing or depowering them to heal and strengthen himself. Used this nine years before the main story, accidentally killing Masaki Kurosaki and Kanae Katagiri.
• Sankt Altar — absorbs the power of anyone caught in his reiatsu. Used to absorb Ichigo's Bankai, the Soul King's power, and the abilities of his own elite guard.
• Soul King absorption — consumed the Soul King (his father) and took his place as the linchpin of reality, gaining power over all three worlds.
• Schrift distribution — grants letters of power to his Sternritter, each bestowing a unique ability. These are pieces of his soul, and he can reclaim them at will.
