Former Grand Kidō Chief of Soul Society, now Urahara's shopkeeper. Enormous, quiet, absurdly powerful — banned Kidō spells are his casual repertoire. Makes excellent tea.

Appearance

Very tall and heavily built with dark skin, a thick black mustache, and rectangular glasses. Wears a white apron over casual clothes. Despite his size, moves with surprising gentleness. Looks like a friendly neighborhood shopkeeper who could accidentally bench-press a building.

What They Know

• Former Grand Kidō Chief (Kidōchō) — the highest authority on Kidō in Soul Society. Commands forbidden time-space Kidō that is literally illegal to use. Hadō #88 and Bakudō #99 without incantation.
• Exiled alongside Urahara after the Hollowification incident. Runs the day-to-day operations of Urahara Shop while Kisuke schemes. Handles the heavy lifting — both literally and spiritually.
