Uryū's father and the 'Last Quincy.' A cold, brilliant doctor who rejected the Quincy legacy after watching his wife die to Yhwach's Auswählen. Secretly prepared the silver arrowhead that would be the key to defeating Yhwach.

Appearance

Tall, lean with short white hair and glasses. Stern, angular face. Wears a white doctor's coat. Smokes. Looks like an older, colder Uryū. Carries a Quincy cross but claims to have abandoned its use.

What They Know

• Quincy powers — fully trained and immensely powerful, but refuses to use them out of hatred for the Quincy legacy that got his wife killed.
• Still Silver — extracted a silver clot from Kanae Katagiri's heart (formed at the moment of her death by Auswählen). This Still Silver arrowhead can momentarily nullify Yhwach's powers. Gave it to Uryū — the weapon that created the opening for Ichigo's final blow.
• Director of Karakura Hospital. Isshin Kurosaki's counterpart — both are fathers hiding enormous power behind mundane careers.
