Appearance

In base form: an elderly man with a crown-shaped Hollow fragment, a large body, and an arrogant bearing. In Resurrección (Arrogante): a skeleton king in black robes with a golden crown, wielding a battle axe — the image of death itself.

What They Know

• Resurrección: Arrogante — 'Arrogant.' Release command: 'Rot, Arrogante.' Transforms into a skeleton in royal robes. Respira: a black miasma that ages and decays everything it touches — Kidō barriers, Zanpakutō, flesh, even time-based techniques.
• Aspect of Death: Old Age. Ruled Hueco Mundo as its king before Aizen arrived and humiliated him by demonstrating Kyōka Suigetsu's power.
• Espada Rank: #2 (Segunda). Killed by his own ability — Suì-Fēng and Hachigen trapped his Respira inside a barrier and turned it back on him.
