Rou Zhuye

Character from Beware of Chicken by Casualfarmer

The young master of Fa Ram — a baby who can smell qi, has a tiger for a sister, a bee empress as a bodyguard, and no idea how unusual any of this is.

Zhuye is simultaneously the most ordinary and most extraordinary baby in the Azure Hills. He's ordinary because he does baby things — he eats, sleeps, babbles, and makes everyone around him absurdly happy. He's extraordinary because he was born into a household where his big sister is a cultivating tiger-cat, his babysitter is a bee empress, and his father accidentally runs the most spiritually potent location in the province. He perceives qi through smell — an inherited version of Meiling's Qi Nose — and can detect others' emotions and exhaustion levels by scent. He doesn't know he's doing this. He's a baby. Vajra presented honey, tapestries, and mosquito heads as tribute at his naming ceremony, which was the event that revealed her as a spirit beast to the wider community.

Appearance

An infant, depicted alongside his adopted sister Tigu. Too young for distinctive features beyond the family resemblance to his parents — though his inherited Qi Nose ability suggests Meiling's spiritual sensitivity runs strong in the bloodline.
