Miantiao

Character from Beware of Chicken by Casualfarmer

A crippled snake seeking atonement — he turned a rabbit into a weapon for revenge, found forgiveness instead, and now teaches at the farm that should have been his enemy.

Miantiao calls himself 'Shi Ti' — corpse — a self-deprecating acknowledgment of what he considers his moral death. His master, a gentle glass maker, was murdered by Sun Ken. Miantiao survived, crippled, and spent years training Liang Yin as a weapon aimed at his master's killer. He used a child. He knows it. The guilt shapes everything he does now. When Sun Ken died and the purpose evaporated, Miantiao expected punishment. Instead, Bi De denied his offer of self-sacrifice and Fa Ram offered him a home. He teaches now — glass and shard techniques, patience, the difference between revenge and justice. His qi nature is described as 'a tiny shard of shattered pottery and broken glass, wanting so desperately to atone.' He speaks rarely and carefully, like someone who has learned that words can be weapons too.

Appearance

A snake of modest size, his body bearing the marks of the injuries Sun Ken inflicted when crippling him. His qi manifests as shards of broken pottery and glass — beautiful in a jagged, wounded way. Carries himself with the careful deliberation of someone managing chronic pain.
