Character from Beware of Chicken by Casualfarmer
A rat spirit beast who infiltrated Fa Ram with false benevolence and nearly destroyed it from within — a manipulator whose cruelty is measured not in violence but in trust exploited.
Chow Ji is what happens when a spirit beast embraces the worst parts of the cultivation world — hoarding power, exploiting the weak, treating others as resources. He arrived at Fa Ram as a refugee during Jin's absence, presented himself as benevolent, and systematically corrupted Bi De through addictive pills while embedding control mechanisms in the farm's defenses. His manipulation of Bi De — nearly turning Fa Ram's most loyal protector into an instrument of its destruction — is the series' most visceral betrayal. He scarred Chun Ke's face and damaged his brain. He cursed the land with persistent vermin. He was Ri Zu's clan leader, which means her betrayal of him was also a betrayal of family, making her courage all the more significant. Chow Ji is dead, but his damage echoes. Chun Ke's broken thoughts, Bi De's shame, Ri Zu's complicated loyalty — these are his legacy.
A large rat who underwent an imperfect human transformation, resulting in a physically strong but grotesque body — Jin compared his corpse to Master Splinter crossed with an R.O.U.S. The failed transformation reflects his corrupted cultivation: power grabbed rather than earned.
