Vritannis

Location from Berserk by Kentaro Miura

The Holy See's port city where the alliance against Ganishka gathered — a maritime hub that became a war zone when the Kushan Emperor's fog rolled in.

Vritannis was the staging ground for the Holy See Alliance's resistance against the Kushan invasion. The city's natural harbor made it strategic, and its Holy See backing made it political. Here the world's surviving powers gathered to plan their counter-attack — and here Ganishka's fog form attacked, leading to the battle where Guts and Zodd fought side by side against the Emperor's astral projection. The city represents the old world's last organized resistance — everything that came after was Griffith's show.

Appearance

A large coastal city with the architecture of a prosperous trading port under Holy See influence. Harbor facilities, merchant quarters, and a military staging ground. During the Kushan war, it served as the alliance's headquarters — crowded with soldiers, refugees, and political operatives.
