Location from Berserk by Kentaro Miura
The dimension where the God Hand conducts sacrificial ceremonies — a place outside time where the sky bleeds and the faces of demons stretch to infinity.
The Eclipse Grounds exist wherever and whenever a sacrificial ceremony occurs. When a beherit activates and calls the God Hand, reality folds — the physical world peels away and this dimensional space replaces it. Everyone within the activation radius is transported. This is where Griffith sacrificed the Band of the Hawk. This is where Guts lost his arm and eye. This is where Casca was violated. The space itself is designed for one purpose: to present the would-be God Hand member with their choice and to facilitate the sacrifice. The faces in the ground are previous victims. The apostles that fill the space are former humans who survived prior ceremonies as transformed beings. Skull Knight is the only known entity to have broken into an Eclipse from outside — cutting through the dimensional barrier to rescue Guts and Casca.
Not a physical location but a dimensional space that manifests when a beherit activates. The sky turns dark and eclipsed. The ground is composed of faces — millions of anguished human faces forming the terrain. The God Hand appears as massive figures against the bleeding sky. The space is infinite and claustrophobic simultaneously — there is no horizon, no escape, only the ceremony.
