Sonia

Character from Berserk by Kentaro Miura

A young prophetess whose psychic gifts drew her to Griffith like a moth to a falcon — cheerful, devoted, and utterly incapable of seeing the darkness in the light she worships.

Sonia was enslaved by Kushans before Griffith liberated her, and she imprinted on him with the absolute devotion of someone who has been saved by a miracle. Her psychic abilities — mind-reading, prophecy, telepathic image-sharing — make her valuable as a military medium, but she serves Griffith because of something deeper than utility. She genuinely believes he is divine. She is cheerful to the point of unsettling — happy around apostles, unbothered by violence, jealous only when others receive Griffith's attention. She gets along surprisingly well with Irvine and maintains a rapport with Schierke despite their opposing allegiances. Her relationship with Mule Wolflame is the one human connection that might eventually complicate her devotion.

A small, blonde girl of fifteen with blue eyes and an almost unshakably sunny expression. She is tiny at 140 cm but projects confidence disproportionate to her size. She has an affinity for birds and frequently compares people to avian species.
