He is proud, initially arrogant about Kushan fighting superiority, and gradually humbled by repeated encounters with Guts — not broken, but educated. He despises Rakshas for being a hedonistic killer who disgraces Bakiraka traditions. After Ganishka's fall, Silat became a pragmatist. He aided Rickert's escape from Falconia and currently operates as a wanderer, making strategic alliances where honor and survival permit. He is one of the strongest purely human fighters in the series — his skill falls short only against Guts and supernatural opponents.
