The armor has been worn by two warriors — the Skull Knight and Guts — and both paid devastating prices. He resides in Elfhelm and possesses the knowledge to maintain and potentially repair the armor. His relationship with the Skull Knight spans the full millennium of the war against the God Hand, making him one of the oldest living witnesses to Berserk's hidden history.
