Character from Berserk by Kentaro Miura
The cursed offspring of Guts and Casca — tainted by Femto's violation, born deformed, existing between worlds, and somehow still reaching for its parents with the stubborn love of something that should not be alive.
The Demon Child is Berserk's most tragic figure. Conceived by Guts and Casca, tainted during the Eclipse when Femto violated Casca while it was in the womb, it was born as a deformed creature that couldn't survive in the physical world. It loved its parents anyway — appearing to protect Casca from evil spirits, guiding Guts through danger, reaching for them with hands that could barely hold form. Griffith used the Demon Child's body as a vessel for his incarnation during the Tower of Conviction ceremony. The child was absorbed, consumed, merged — but not entirely destroyed. On full moon nights, the Moonlight Boy emerges from Griffith's body, still silent, still drawn to Guts and Casca. The implication is devastating: Griffith's physical form is built on a foundation of stolen love.
A small, malformed fetus-like creature with oversized eyes and a misshapen body. It glows faintly with astral energy and exists partially in the Interstice. On full moon nights it manifests as the Moonlight Boy — a beautiful, silver-haired child who resembles Griffith, silent and serene, drawn to Guts and Casca with an inexplicable tenderness.
