Character from Berserk by Kentaro Miura
An ancient Kushan sorcerer who commanded demons for Emperor Ganishka — and survived the empire's fall to find unlikely refuge with the very people he once fought.
Daiba served Ganishka as court sorcerer, commanding pishacha demons and water elementals in the Kushan campaigns. He is pragmatic above all — when the Kushan Empire collapsed, he adapted rather than died. He now travels with Rickert and Silat, offering magical knowledge and tactical counsel. His magic operates on different principles than Schierke's elemental tradition — Kushan sorcery draws on astral beings directly rather than channeling through natural elements. This makes him a valuable complement to the party's existing magical capabilities.
An elderly, wizened man with the weathered features of someone who has lived far too long through magical means. He dresses in traditional Kushan sorcerer's garb and carries himself with the quiet authority of genuine power.
