Conrad

Character from Berserk by Kentaro Miura

The silent plague-bringer of the God Hand — a bloated, larval presence who spreads pestilence and rot wherever the flow of causality requires decay.

Conrad barely speaks. Where Void philosophizes and Ubik cajoles, Conrad simply exists — a silent, pestilent presence that manifests where death and disease are needed to serve causality's design. He spreads plague through rats and vermin, his influence felt in the rot of cities rather than in direct confrontation. His silence is not mindlessness. He observes with the patience of someone who understands that decay is not an ending but a transition. He is the God Hand member most associated with the physical degradation of the world — famine, plague, the slow collapse of civilizations that makes room for what comes next.

Appearance

A grotesque, bloated figure resembling a massive larva or grub. His body is soft and shapeless, covered in folds of pale flesh. He is the most physically repulsive of the God Hand, evoking disease and decomposition in his very form.
