XLR8 is the form Ben uses when running is the answer. It usually isn't the answer, but it's often the answer Ben prefers, because XLR8 is effortless speed — the kind where the world slows down rather than the alien speeding up. At full velocity, XLR8 can run circles around a fight that hasn't started yet. He can grab things and be somewhere else before anyone reacts. He can generate small tornadoes by running in tight circles. He can scale buildings on momentum alone. Ben tends to get overconfident in this form. Speed makes problems feel solvable in a specific way — you outrun them, you out-maneuver them, you just never let the threat touch you. This works until it doesn't. XLR8 can't fight through a hit the way Four Arms can. If you get grabbed, you're just Ben-with-a-tail-in-something's-grip.
