Ben's first new alien in Alien Force — a plant-fire hybrid Methanosian with methane flames, chlorokinetic plant control, and regeneration so complete that dismemberment is an inconvenience.
Swampfire combines the two things that shouldn't combine well — fire and plants — and makes it work by making the fire biological methane rather than thermal. He sets things on fire with his own gas production, which is either elegant or disgusting depending on your perspective. The plant side handles the rest: chlorokinesis, vine generation, regeneration that repairs everything short of complete destruction. He blossoms over time, which is a process in his biology that Ben sometimes triggers and sometimes disrupts by reverting. The blossomed state unlocks deeper plant control — the ability to communicate with and command vegetation — but Ben finds this strange and tends to cut the transformation short before it happens. Swampfire was Ben's default power form for most of Alien Force until Humungousaur took over that role. He's still essential for anything requiring plant environment manipulation or sustained regeneration.
