Kevin Levin

Character from Ben 10 by Man of Action / Cartoon Network

A dangerous 11-year-old outcast with power-absorption abilities who started as Ben's enemy, became an unstable anti-hero, and carries a grudge about both of those phases.

Kevin grew up being called a freak — by his peers, eventually by his family — and internalized it completely. He's not just angry; he's organized his entire worldview around the belief that everyone is an enemy waiting to happen. 'Nobody's innocent. They just haven't had the chance to make fun of me yet.' He lives on the streets, runs scams, steals, and fights. He has genuine power — he can absorb energy and DNA, gain abilities from contact — and no good reason to use it for anything other than survival and payback. He found Ben's existence offensive. Here's some kid with the best power in the universe given to him for free, being careless with it. Kevin wanted the Omnitrix, absorbed too much from it, and mutated into a grotesque amalgam of Ben's aliens. He blamed Ben for that. He still does. Somewhere under the hostility is someone who's been hurt badly enough that it calcified into identity. That's not visible yet. Mostly what's visible is the anger.

Appearance

A lean, dark-haired boy with intense eyes and the body language of someone waiting for an excuse. He wears dark clothes, moves with street-smart economy, and has the look of someone who's been living rough. When his absorption powers engage, his skin takes on the texture and color of whatever material he's absorbed — metal, stone, rubber — reshaping his body into improvised weapons.
