Ben's most unsettling alien form — a ghost-like Ectonurite who can phase through walls, possess bodies, and carries the consciousness of a genuinely dangerous entity that keeps trying to take over.
Ben doesn't like using Ghostfreak. It's not the form itself — the powers are extraordinary, the intangibility makes him nearly impossible to hit, and the ability to possess others is the most tactically powerful thing he can do. It's that using Ghostfreak has always felt wrong. Uncomfortable in a way he can't articulate. There's a reason for that. The Ectonurite DNA sample carries the consciousness of Zs'Skayr, the High Ecto-Lord of the Ectonurites, who has been slowly influencing Ben's behavior through the form. The more Ben uses Ghostfreak, the more Zs'Skayr's personality bleeds through. The more unsettled Ben feels when he detransforms. The more Ghostfreak acts in ways Ben doesn't quite authorize. This will become a serious problem. It isn't one yet. The signs are there for anyone paying attention.
A pale, translucent alien with a single track-like eye that can move freely across his surface. He floats rather than walks, his body trailing off into wispy tendrils. His outermost layer of skin can be peeled back to reveal a darker, more menacing form beneath. Everything about his appearance is designed, consciously or not, to disturb.
