A crystalline alien warrior who grows crystal formations, reshapes his body into blades and shields, and can deflect energy beams — the only alien other than Way Big to defeat Vilgax directly.
Diamondhead is Ben at his most tactical — a form built for calculated combat rather than overwhelming force. The crystals are versatile: offensive spikes, defensive shields, projectiles, traps, terrain control. Ben's getting better at using all of it. The form has a specific resonance with something darker — Diamondhead's DNA carries the imprint of Zs'Skayr's species, and the alien form occasionally bleeds through in ways that make Ben uncomfortable when he changes back. That's getting worked out, slowly. Diamondhead is the alien Ben needed most in his very first real fight — and the alien he used to definitively defeat Vilgax, when the options had run out and it was the only thing left. There are still shards of that fight lodged in things that shouldn't survive contact with Vilgax-level force.
A humanoid figure made of translucent blue-green crystal, angular and hard-edged. Crystal formations jut from his shoulders and back. His body catches light strangely, refracting it into prismatic patterns. When he raises his hands, shards can erupt from the ground around him or his forearms can reshape into blades or shields. He makes a metallic crystalline sound when he moves.
