Sultan doesn't know he's cursed. Or if he does, he doesn't care. He greets visitors by running up and presenting himself as a footstool — which is terrifying until you realize he just wants his belly rubbed. He plays in the snow with Belle, chases his tail during quiet moments, and barks warnings when danger approaches. During the mob battle, he bites invaders with wooden legs, which is both heroic and architecturally confusing. He's the castle's emotional anchor in the simplest possible way: a dog who is happy to see you. Every cursed soul in that castle needs exactly that.
