Cats of the Cosmos is where the Battle Cats universe fully commits to its cosmic ambitions. The cats pursue alien forces into space itself, encountering bosses of truly titanic scale and difficulty. The enemy trait roster expands further. Units that were reliable workhorses in earlier arcs may need to be supplemented with new specialists. Thematically, Cats of the Cosmos is about scale: the realization that the battle between cats and their enemies is not a local or even planetary conflict but a universal one. Somewhere out in the deep dark, the cats go. And they win, because cats always win eventually, even if it takes everything the Commander has.
The void between stars, rendered in Battle Cats' signature style: nebulae that look like watercolor paintings, planets that are suspiciously round, cosmic entities that float against backdrops of impossible color. The aesthetic is both genuinely beautiful and deeply silly in the best possible combination.
