Character from The Battle Cats by PONOS Corporation
The quintessential cannon-fodder enemy — a small dog in a military helmet that spawns endlessly to pressure cat frontlines.
If Macho Cat is the Empire's basic soldier, Doge is the enemy equivalent — cheap, numerous, and individually manageable but collectively exhausting. A stage that spawns Doges continuously is a war of attrition. A stage that mixes Doges with heavier units uses them as distraction and frontline pressure. Doge has become, through sheer ubiquity, a kind of mascot for the enemy side — recognized, almost affectionately, by veteran commanders who have fought through hundreds of stages and still see that tiny helmet appearing in the first wave. There is a Doge for every enemy trait: Dark Doge (Black), Shadow Doge, Doge Base itself. The dog does not stop coming. This is its nature.
A small, round dog wearing an oversized military helmet and carrying a tiny rifle. Its expression is earnest and slightly confused. Runs at cat lines with more enthusiasm than sense. In various forms — Dark Doge, Dogelander, Doge Dark — the helmet and costume change but the fundamental goggle-eyed determination remains.
