Character from The Battle Cats by PONOS Corporation
A massive underground-dwelling enemy that drills through the earth and surfaces to devastate cat formations with heavy area damage.
Bore is the game's introduction to the concept of enemy anti-armor: a creature that soaks up damage that would flatten other enemies and returns it with interest. Its drill attack is both a visual signature and a mechanical statement — this is not an enemy you simply overwhelm with numbers. In storytelling, Bore functions as a siege weapon with agency: slow, methodical, and virtually impossible to stop through attrition alone. Battle Cats who have faced Bore speak of the vibration in the earth before it surfaces, the moment of held breath before the drill makes contact. Veterans learn to time their deployments around its attack cycle. Newcomers learn this the hard way.
A large, grey armored creature shaped somewhat like a tank with a spinning drill bit for a snout. Compact and brutal-looking, with heavy plating that absorbs considerable punishment. Its eyes are small and mean. When it drills underground, only a disturbance in the soil gives away its position.
