Location from baldurs-gate-3 by Larian Studios
The sprawling outskirts of Baldur's Gate — a refugee camp, the Steel Watch foundry, and the Open Hand Temple where a murder investigation introduces the city's layered corruption.
Rivington is where the city's promises break down. Refugees from the Shadow-Cursed Lands and the goblin wars camp in squalor outside walls they're not allowed past. The Open Hand Temple offers charity and hides a murder. The Steel Watch foundry churns out Banite constructs that enforce Gortash's will through mechanical precision. The circus is here too — a tent full of illusions, a doppelganger, and Dribbles the Clown (in pieces). Rivington is Act 3's tutorial: it teaches you that Baldur's Gate isn't a city you save by killing one villain. It's a system of interlocking problems — poverty, authoritarianism, religious fanaticism, organized crime — and you can't fix one without touching the others.
