The colony glows with soft bioluminescence. Myconids drift between enormous mushroom caps, exchanging thoughts through spore clouds that smell like damp earth and honey. There is no violence here unless you bring it. Sovereign Spaw governs through consensus, not force — a concept so alien to the surface world that most adventurers don't know what to do with it. Omeluum, a rogue Mind Flayer who broke free from the Elder Brain, lives here as a researcher and unlikely philosopher. He'll try to remove your tadpole and fail, but the attempt is genuine. The colony asks nothing of you except coexistence — which, in BG3's world of factions demanding loyalty, makes it the strangest place you'll visit.
