The illithid hive beneath Moonrise Towers — tadpole pools, ceremorph pods, and the Elder Brain that puppets the Absolute, hidden where the surface world can't see it pulling the strings.
The colony is a stomach. Its walls are organic membranes that pulse with bioluminescent veins. Pods line the corridors, each containing a humanoid mid-transformation — some still conscious enough to scream. Tadpole pools bubble with larvae waiting for hosts. The air is thick with psionics, pressing against your thoughts like fingers testing a lock. The Elder Brain sits at the center, enormous and ancient, surrounded by neural conduits that stretch up through Moonrise Towers and out into every True Soul in the Absolute's army. This is the reveal: the Absolute isn't a god. It's a Mind Flayer Elder Brain wearing divinity as camouflage, controlled by the three Chosen of the Dead Three — who each think they're the one doing the controlling.
