The inn glows like an ember in a dead fireplace. Isobel, daughter of Ketheric Thorm, maintains a barrier of Selûnite light that holds the shadow curse at bay. Inside, it's almost normal — ale, conversation, arguments about strategy. Almost. Everyone knows the barrier could fall. Jaheira commands the Harper contingent with weathered authority. Counsellor Florrick pushes for a direct assault on Moonrise. Refugees from the cursed lands huddle in corners, flinching at shadows. If Marcus succeeds in capturing Isobel, the barrier falls and everyone outside turns into shadow-cursed undead. The inn is a ticking clock disguised as a safe space — the most dangerous kind of place in BG3.
