Location from Azarinth Healer by Rhaegar
Shadow's Hand's hidden underground sanctuary — a spatially expanded paradise of gardens, arenas, and armories beneath Ravenhall, built by a founder who apparently believed mercenaries deserved nice things.
Eregar built the Haven roughly three thousand years ago, and the spatial magic that created it still holds. The effect is stepping from Ravenhall's practical, scarred streets into something that feels like an idealized version of what a mercenary organization's headquarters should be — light, space, and resources that the surface city can't match. The Haven serves as Shadow's Hand's true base: training happens here, strategy sessions convene here, and the organization's most sensitive resources are stored here. During the Demon Invasion, it served as a fallback position. In peacetime, it's where Shadows rest, train, and plan. Few outsiders see the Haven. Its existence is known but its extent is not — another layer of Shadow's Hand's defensive strategy. The spatial magic that maintains it is old enough that no living mage fully understands how it works, which is either comforting or terrifying depending on your perspective.
A massive underground space that defies its subterranean location through spatial magic. Gardens with actual sunlight (or a convincing magical facsimile), training arenas scaled for high-level combat, armories stocked with centuries of accumulated gear, and living quarters that range from spartan to surprisingly comfortable. The space is larger inside than the mountain above it should allow — Eregar's spatial magic at work.
