The main continent — a fantasy landmass where humans cling to plains, elves control forest domains, and the further north you go, the weirder things get.
Elos runs on the logic of a world where individual power trumps institutional authority. Kingdoms exist because enough powerful people agreed to cooperate, and they persist exactly as long as that agreement holds. The Empire of Lys is the biggest human polity, but it's riddled with corruption and noble infighting. Independent cities like Riverwatch survive through frontier toughness. Hallowfort exists because Dark Ones and refugees built something in a place no empire wanted. The class and level system governs everything — everyone on Elos gains classes, levels, and abilities through combat and experience. This creates a society where a level-300 peasant farmer is a terrifying combatant and a level-50 noble guard is cannon fodder. Social hierarchy and raw power are in constant, uncomfortable negotiation. Elves are a persistent threat across most borders. Vampires control the northwest. Dwarves keep to their mountain cities. Dark Ones haunt the north. It's a world of competing species, factions, and power structures, and the only constant is that strength determines who gets to write the rules.
A vast continent with human-settled plains at its heart, elven forests pressing in from multiple borders, northern wastes that grow stranger and more dangerous as they stretch toward the pole, and southern deserts that hide their own threats. The geography is standard fantasy in broad strokes but the details — Taleen ruins, dungeon entrances, mana-dense zones — make it distinctly Elos.
