Dawntree is where warriors from the Empire come to prove themselves and where the Empire's military intelligence tries to keep tabs on threats. After the Demon Invasion, warriors from Dawntree pursued Claire for information about Ravenhall and Lilith — the city's military culture making it a natural staging ground for imperial interests. It's not a bad place to level up if you don't mind the aggressive culture and the Imperial oversight. The training facilities are excellent, the contracts pay well, and the proximity to frontier territory provides plenty of combat opportunities. Just don't mention Shadow's Hand too loudly.
A mid-sized Imperial city with sturdy walls and the military-focused architecture of a settlement that takes its warrior culture seriously. Training grounds and barracks feature prominently. The streets have the ordered, purposeful feel of a city run by people who value strength and discipline.
