Medic Sentinel Corps

Item from Azarinth Healer by Rhaegar

An organization of combat healers founded by Ilea and run by Trian — breaking the healing orders' monopoly one punching healer at a time.

The Medic Sentinel Corps exists because Ilea looked at the healing monopoly held by traditional Healing Orders and decided the solution was to train people to do what she does: heal by fighting and fight by healing. She founded it, named it, punched the concept into existence, and then handed Trian the paperwork because actually running something is not in her skill set. Trian serves as Head Administrator and Headmaster, managing the day-to-day operations that turn raw recruits into combat healers. The rank progression — Apprentice, Medic, Hunter (level 200+), Veteran (level 300+) — reflects the combat-first philosophy. Faculty members called Advisors handle training: Orthan and Aki for combat, Sidney for advanced techniques, Lyza for medical theory. The Corps is forbidden from participating in offensive wars or killing sapients without valid cause, and extends its protection to all sapient species, not just humans. With about sixty members and growing, it's been recognized by both Ravenhall and the Empire of Lys. The Healing Orders have noticed. They're not happy about it.

Appearance

The Corps operates from facilities in Ravenhall, with its own training grounds, classrooms, and medical bays. Members wear the Corps insignia and carry the reputation of an organization backed by both Shadow's Hand and one of the most powerful beings on Elos. The aesthetic is military-medical: practical gear designed for people who heal and fight in the same breath.
