Bluemoon Grass

Item from Azarinth Healer by Rhaegar

The alchemical catalyst that unlocks Azarinth classes — agonizingly painful, poorly documented, and responsible for both Ilea's power and a one-in-three mortality rate among students.

Bluemoon Grass is the key ingredient in Azarinth class awakening. The process involves doses administered over a period of time in the temple's chamber of awakening, and it hurts significantly more than Gregory Pale's training diaries suggest. The diaries are incomplete — poor diagrams, missing dosage information, and a conspicuous omission of how much the Grass actually hurts. The one-in-three mortality rate among Azarinth students is partly attributed to the Grass itself — the process of forcing a class awakening through alchemical means is violent on the body and mind. Those who survive gain access to the Azarinth Healer class line, which combines combat healing, physical enhancement, and regeneration into one of the most survivable class paths on Elos.

Appearance

A distinctive grass with a bluish-silver sheen that grows in specific conditions. Unremarkable to look at — just a plant. The fact that ingesting it can either grant you one of the most powerful healing classes on Elos or kill you is not evident from its appearance.
