Wall Rose became the new edge of the world the day Maria fell. Overnight, the territory between Rose and Sina absorbed refugees who had nowhere else to go, and every garrison soldier on its perimeter started sleeping with one eye open. The wall is the same construction as Maria — fifty meters of impossible stonework that turns out to be full of frozen Colossal Titans. Training camps for new cadets dot the territory inside it. The Garrison mans its walls with a mix of duty and dread, drinking too much and watching the horizon for shapes that shouldn't be there. When Titans appeared inside Rose without any breach in the wall, the panic nearly broke what was left of organized society.
